Nikki Harris, PsyD
Dr. Harris helps adults and couples address difficulties with depression, anxiety, shame, relational conflict, motivation, codependency, procrastination, perfectionism, and troubling sleep or body habits. Her work with couples typically addresses patterns of conflict and miscommunication around issues like intimacy, trust, money, attachment, life transitions and family planning.
Her approach is grounded in the belief that symptoms are not random, but instead meaningful expressions of unconscious wounds, especially those from early experiences. She works well with those feeling stuck in familiar emotional cycles, who find relationships confusing or overwhelming, or who sense that something deeper is going on beneath everyday frustrations.
Dr. Harris holds a PsyD in clinical psychology from Alliant International University and has trained at a variety of settings, including low-fee community clinics and university counseling centers. Her training is in psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
